  • 1cup besan (gram flour)
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/2tsp red chillie powder
  • 1/2tsp coriander (dhania) powder
  • 1/2tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1tsp kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • 6slices white/wheat bread
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  1. Sift and mix besan with all dry ingredients. Make a smooth paste using water.
  2. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  3. Cut the bread slices into triangles.
  4. Dip bread triangles in a batter and deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with chutney.
Recipe Notes
  • When you heat oil for frying, pour a teaspoon of the hot oil in the batter and mix well. Now dip bread triangles in it and deep fry.
