Paneer Burfi

  • 400 gms condensed milk (or 1 tin)
  • 300 gms grated cottage cheese (paneer)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds and pistas


  • Mix condensed milk and cottage cheese in a pan and cook on a medium flame stirring continuously.
  • When the mixture starts thickening, reduce the flame.
  • When it leaves the sides of the pan and is solid, remove from the fire and spread it on a greased tray.
  • Sprinkle the cardamom powder and dry fruits on the mixture.
  • Decorate with silver sheets and cut into desired shapes.
