Ingredients
- 200 gms Spinach
- 1/2 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp butter
- 1/2 cup resh cream (whipping cream)
- 2 tsp cornflour

Instructions
- Wash, discard the thick stems and chop spinach leaves and the tender stems.
- Boil for about 10 minutes, strain and keep aside.
- Coarsely chop onion and garlic.
- Fry using 2 tsp olive oil.
- Grind together the fried onion, garlic and boiled spinach.
- Melt butter in a pan and lighlty brown the cornflour on a medium flame.
- Add the pureed spinach mixture, salt and pepper powder.
- Cook for about three minutes stirring in between.
- Pour in the cream, reduce flame to low and let cook another minute.
- Serve hot.
Recipe Notes
- Instead of cream you can use whole milk.
