  • 2cups murmura (puffed rice)
  • 3/4cup sev
  • 2tbsp peanutsroasted
  • 1/2tsp cumin seeds
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 1tsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4cup boiled potatocubed
  • 2tbsp moong sprouts
  • 1/4cup golden or granny smith applechopped
  • 1/4cup pineapplechunks
  • 4tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 orange
  • 4tbsp coriander leaves (cilantro)chopped
  • dressing
  • 2tsp chat masala
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 3tbsp lemon juice
  • 2tsp lemon zest
  • 1tsp honey
  1. Whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, chat masala and salt.
  2. Heat the oil and add the cumin seeds. When they crackle, add the asafoetida. the mumura in the pan and stir for a few minutes till murmura gets crisp.
  3. Take off of flame and mix with all other ingredients.
  4. Pour the dressing on top.
  5. Serve immediately.
